Vic Coleman grew up in Western NSW and studied Veterinary Science at Sydney University in the 70s. As a rural vet in Keith SA for over 45 years his main work with commercial cattle and sheep influenced his approaches to his own breeding program.

Starting with mixed Merinos in the early 80s, importing Dorper embryos from South Africa in 1998 he developed his own line of sheep on the Eyre Peninsula at Minnipa and called them Eyre Whites.

The breed is now fixed and he runs his line from a property north of Keith with his partner Tess. We are always learning.
